Framework technical and organisational information on the operation of the camera system in the wagons of AŽD Praha s.r.o. on the line Litoměřice horní nádraží - Most

2. Purpose of processing personal data

  • Protection of the property of AŽD Praha s.r.o. passengers and employees;
  • protection of life and health of passengers and employees of the company;
  • prevention of vandalism;
  • prevention of safety risks in mass passenger transport.

3. Categories of personal data

  • Simple visual records of the monitored areas;
  • no audio recordings are made and no processing of any biometric data is possible.

4. Categories of data subjects

  • Passengers in public rail transport who use the regular line Litoměřice - Most for their transport;
  • other natural persons who are in the monitored area for reasons other than for the purpose of transporting passengers, namely employees of the Administrator in the performance of their duties (e.g. conductors) and potentially other persons (e.g. members of the security forces in the performance of their duties).

5. Possible recipients of data outside the Controller

Indoor cameras

  •   The Police of the Czech Republic in the exercise of its statutory powers in accordance with the Police Act and related legislation.

Outdoor cameraas

  • Police of the Czech Republic;
  • Railway Inspectorate; Ministry of Transport;
  • other state administration authorities concerned within the scope of their statutory competence;

6. Record retention time:

For indoor cameras 3 calendar days, then the record is automatically overwritten with a new one.
For indoor cameras 10 calendar days, then the record is automatically overwritten with a new one.

7. Camera operation mode: continuous recording mode.



8. Number of cameras and their placement

The subject of image monitoring are the interior and exterior spaces of train sets operated as part of regular public mass transport on the route Litoměřice - Most.

There are always 6 cameras installed in each train set, of which 4 cameras capture the area inside the passenger compartment (1 camera installed in each door space) and 2 cameras capture the outside area in front of the train set according to the direction of travel, the driver's workplace will be out of the view of these two cameras.

9. Data protection

The stored image data (personal data) is protected on several levels. It is a combination of organisational and technical measures to ensure the security of personal data processing.

  1. The recording equipment is located in a protected location in the carriage of the train set with sufficient security over and above the normal internal security. The equipment itself is separately secured against unauthorised physical access in the protected area.
  2. The image data shall be protected by appropriate technical means against accidental loss, damage or unauthorised access from both the internal network and the public Internet.
  3. Only selected employees responsible for the operation of the CCTV system and responsible for the security and safety of the monitored premises shall have access to the image data.
  4. The export of image data outside the secure area of the recording equipment is only allowed at the request of law enforcement or administrative authorities to obtain the necessary evidence.
     

10. Rights of data subjects

Under the conditions set out, the data subject may exercise all the rights granted to him or her by the legislation governing the protection of personal data, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
